This is a prototype for a proposed app called “HikeFinder.” The purpose of the app was to provide accessibility information about outdoor locations. I got the idea from my aunt. She’s a high’y successful businesswoman who was once the CEO of a company, but she has cerebral palsy. This affects her ability to walk long distances or over rough terrain. She loves to go outside and experience nature but often accessibility information about trails is sparse and unreliable. Enter HikeFinder, an app dedicated to giving accurate and detailed accessibility information about outdoor spaces.
The prototype was made in figma. The overflowing images act as carousels in the interactive version of the prototype.
